Mark has been coaching USMS since 1999 and serving the teams’ membership as Vice President of Member Services since 2005. As a proponent of masters swimming, among his endeavors have been the USMS Club of the Year award, TYR Masters Grand Prix Swim Series, Arizona Open Water Series, and has started swim programs in Arizona and Kentucky. He has served a meet director for local, national, and international meets, the records chair for Arizona, and has received the Edie and Dan Gruender Service Award and National Championship Meet award.
