U.S. Masters Swimming Dorothy Donnelly Service Award

Dating back to 1993, Deb had served Potomac Valley LMSC in many capacities including Awards Chair, Top Ten Chair, Secretary, Sanctions Chair, and LMSC Chair. During her leadership, the LMSC membership experienced a 68% growth. Deb was also active with the Terrapin Masters club. She represented her LMSC at the USMS Convention since 1993, quickly volunteering to serve on national committees. Deb served on the USMS Marketing committee, and was chair from 1997-2001. She also served on the Planning Committee, Structure and Governance task force, and the Legislation Committee, where she served as vice chair. She chaired the USMS Elections Committee for three years. Deb was elected chair of the Colonies Zone from 2004-2011, which entitled her to served on the USMS Zone committee. As Zone chair, she improved communication via the web and improved collaboration among the Colonies Zone LMSCs.
