Sean served as the Vice Chair of the Georgia LMSC for over 20 years. He created the very popular Georgia Grand Prix Series, which awards gender and age group awards for the best overall performances in major events during the year. participation in events increased due to this award. Sean also served for many years as meet director for two large meets at the Georgia Tech Olympic Pool (winter and spring). At the national level, Sean served on the Legislation Committee including 8 years as its chair. He held the Dixie Zone At Large position on the USMS Board of Directors and is a long-time member of IGLA.
