Ray contributed to Alexandria Masters, the Potomac LMSC, and USMS for over 20 years. As a member of his club, he served as President and meet director. For over a decade, he has served as the webmaster. Ray attended his first LMSC meeting in 1996 and volunteered in various capacities at that level, including supporting events and clubs, and assisting with the newsletter. More recently, Ray volunteered to overhaul the LMSC website, putting his web skill expertise to the test. After 18 months of work, the LMSC now has a modern website that has been invaluable for recruiting and retaining members. Ray served as the Colonies Zone webmaster for over a decade. A member of the USMS Recognition and Awards Committee since 2012, Ray served on committee as Vice Chair for a year, and as Chair for five years.
