Pete was one of the first leaders in the South Carolina LMSC to see the potential the state had. He joined the LMSC in 2000, after a 44-year hiatus from swimming. He embodied the passion and spirit of Masters Swimming and spread enthusiasm wherever he went. Pete served as the LMSC chair from 2007-2010. A “team leader”, he was instrumental in the formation of LOCO Swimming and the development of three workout groups in the area. At age 83, Pete was a critical source of knowledge in South Carolina.
