Jane has contributed significantly to the Pacific Northwest LMSC and USMS in varied ways. She was chair of  Federal Way Masters and then chaired multiple committees for the LMSC. She served as PNA’s President from 1993-1998.  She chaired the USMS Sports Medicine Committee from 1983-1993 and remained a member of that committee. Jane also served on the Legislation Committee. She chaired the organizing committee for the 1992 Long Course Nationals and was co-meet director of the 1997 Short Course Nationals. She authored at least three articles for SWIM magazine and presented talks to the US Swimming Sports Medicine Society.
