Head coach of the Long Beach Grunions, Kenny Brisbin also served as the Southern Pacific LMSC Chair. A member of the USMS Coaches Committee since 2013, he chaired that committee for four years as well (2020-23). Kenny was a USMS Level 3 Coach who had been featured numerous times in the USMS Swimmer magazine, including twice in the “Ask the Coach” column. He served as the meet director for the annual SPMS short course meter championship meet and helped meet directors who were hosting their first meets. Kenny also encouraged local coaches to attend USMS coaching certification courses and coaches’ clinics.

Kenny was a dedicated and enthusiastic coach who was not only focused on giving back to the swimmers on his own team and his LMSC, but he was also invested in helping coaches throughout USMS become the best they could be.
