U.S. Masters Swimming Dorothy Donnelly Service Award

An accomplished Masters swimmer, Britta began attending Georgia LMSC board meetings to give back to USMS. She became an At-Large member of the board and in early 2018, served as the interim Chair. She was elected chair of the LMSC the following year and was still chair when she received this award. Britta attended the first of many USMS annual meetings the same year. Looking to be involved at the national level, she ran for a national office and joined the USMS Board of Directors in 2021. Britta served two 2-year terms as the At Large Director for the Southeast Zone. She played an important role in the effort to bring Grown Up Swimming to USMS.
