Heather Hagadorn began volunteering for USMS in 1993 and devoted many hours of her time to the organization on both the local and national level. She held the offices of Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair in the Colorado LSMC. Heather improved the LMSC bylaws. She organized LMSC committees and convention planning. She served as meet director for the state championship meet. On the national level, Heather served on the Championship Committee and chaired the Publications Management and Long Distance committees. She was instrumental in getting the rules of the LD Committee rewritten due to the “spin off” of the Open Water Committee.
