Lynn Hazlewood served on club, LMSC and national levels since joining Reston Masters Swim Team in 1976. She served on the board of her club since 1986, including holding the offices of President, Vice President, Social Chair and Membership Chair. She was the meet director of the Short Course Meters Meet for 9 years and was one of the founders of the Jim McDonnell Lake Swim. In 1987, Lynn began 8 years as Sanctions Chair for the Potomac Valley LMSC. Nationally, her work was varied. She was the Colonies Zone Rep (1997-1999}, the editor of the USMS Calendar of Events (1993-1999), and one of the web content developers for USMS.org (1997-1999). She served on both the Long Distance and Records and Tabulations committees.
