U.S. Masters Swimming Dorothy Donnelly Service Award

Active in College Club Swimming, Maddie served as the CCS liaison to USMS when the two organizations formed a relationship. Upon graduation from Georgia Tech, she volunteered as an At-Large board member of the Georgia LMSC. She was elected to the USMS BOD as the Southeastern Zone At-Large Director in 2018. Maddie participated in BOD activities, including outreach to LMSCs to explain the Unified Fee proposals and the COVID grant programs that USMS offered. In 2021 Maddie served as the vice-chair of the LMSC Development Committee and then led that committee when the chair unexpectedly stepped down. As chair, she initiated the restart of the Peer-2-Peer webinars. She also helped plan and organize Volunteer Relay 2022.
