Maintain your coach designation annually to receive the recognition and benefits you deserve
Why Maintain Your Coach Designation?
Once you complete Level 1, you'll receive designation as a USMS-certified Masters coach for the remainder of the calendar year in which you complete your course (included in tuition). We recommend that you renew your designation each year when you register ($30, in addition to USMS membership fees) to ensure that you continue to receive the recognition and opportunities designed for our professional Masters coaches.
Coaches with the USMS-certified Masters coach designation are eligible for:
- Name and current level of certification listed at usms.org
- Special partner discounts
- Access to stroke drill videos
- One-on-one support from USMS's club and coach services staff
- STREAMLINES for Coaches bi-monthly
- Discounts on USMS continuing-education courses
- Hospitality passes at the USMS Spring and Summer National Championships (other requirements apply)
- Select volunteer and special coaching assignment opportunities at the World Aquatics Masters Championships and PanAm Aquatics Masters Championships
- Teaching opportunities in the Masters track at the ASCA World Clinic
You can renew your designation during the membership renewal process or on the Add-Ons and Upgrades page (from January 1 - October 31).
