Blocks have been setup at several nearby hotels for 2020 USMS Summer Nationals attendees. However, the status of this event is uncertain due to the COVID-19 situation. A link to book hotel rooms will be published here if/when meet entries are opened.

Ground Transportation and Airport

Richmond International Airport

Richmond International Airport is a world-class airport that features 200 flights daily, with all major carriers and low-cost carriers Southwest Airlines, JetBlue, and Allegiant, giving you plenty of convenient options. Richmond International Airport is located 14 miles from The Collegiate School Aquatics Center / SwimRVA. Car rental is available at the airport through brands like Enterprise, AVIS, Budget, Hertz, and Alamo.

Amtrak

With three Amtrak Stations located in the Richmond Region, visitors can sit back and relax as they enjoy their trip to Richmond by rail. Amtrak stations are located just off I-95 at downtown’s historic Main Street Station, minutes from the I-95 and I-64 junction at the Staples Mill Station, and in the north end of the region in Ashland. Arrivals from the north include Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia; New York City; and Boston. Arrivals from the south include Raleigh, NC; Columbia, SC; Tampa, FL; and Orlando, FL.

Automobile

At the junction of Interstates 64 and 95, the Richmond Region is within a day’s drive of half the U.S. population, including major metropolitan areas such as New York City and Atlanta. It’s also within a two-hour drive of the Atlantic Ocean, Blue Ridge Mountains, and our nation’s capital, Washington D.C.
